HVAC Engineering Draughtsman/3D Modeller                                                                                

Salary and Benefits: Based on experience

This position offers scope for real job satisfaction for an experienced draughtsman working on a wide variety of client problems and contributing to delivering quality working solutions.  We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and confidence plus the potential, through personal growth and development, to take leading management roles within the business going forward.

The role

We are looking for an engineering draughtsman who can handle the following roles;

  • You will be working with a senior modelling engineer
  • You will be operating within an established contract team
  • Submit drawings for customer approval and maintain drawing issues and approval registers
  • Site plans and general arrangement drawings
  • Detailed ductwork and mechanical services drawings
  • Steelwork and sheet metal fabrication drawings
  • Assist engineering team with system design
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and client specifications
  • Carry out detailed site surveys of buildings and plant

Skills and experience

  • A minimum engineering qualification to HND level
  • Demonstrable experience gained in a similar role
  • 3D design experience working with SolidWorks and Revit
  • Working with latest version of AutoCAD for 2D
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Relevant technical design experience including;
    • Ductwork sizing
    • Pipework sizing
    • Steelwork sizing
  • Use of industry drawing standards
  • Work well within a team with minimal supervision
  • A full UK drivers licence as travel to client sites anywhere in the UK will be required

The working hours are 37.5 hours a week. The holiday allowance is 25 days plus statutory, with 1 additional day granted under the company CSR policy for team members to volunteer at a project or charity of your choice.

Project Engineer

Salary and Benefits: Based on experience

The position offers scope for real job satisfaction in being able take on a wide variety of client problems and be responsible for delivering quality working solutions often requiring a novel approach.  For the right person with energy, enthusiasm and confidence then the role offers a great opportunity in a growing business aiming to be the best provider in the market.

We are looking for a young Engineer who with some project experience who can develop in to the following roles:

  • Responsible for managing projects from concept to handover
  • Work within an existing established contracts team
  • Communication with clients to understand their requirements and to ensure their expectation are met
  • Produce all necessary H&S documentation for each project
  • Co-ordinating the installation of M&E services to customer sites
  • Manage on site installation teams
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and specifications
  • Negotiate and project manage suppliers and sub-contractors

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum engineering qualification to HND or degree level (optional)
  • Experience gained in a similar role
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Developed IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word, MS Project etc.)
  • Experience with Health and Safety
  • The ability to plan, direct and control site activity
  • Ability to control budgets and cash flow
  • A full UK drivers licence as regular travel to client sites anywhere in the UK will be required
