Andy Hinch Promoted to Project Manager Lead at Penmann

Here at Penmann, we are delighted to announce the promotion of Andy Hinch to Project Manager Lead, recognising the experience, technical knowledge and project management skills he has brought to the business. Andy joined Penmann as a Project Design Engineer, bringing with him more than 25 years of industry experience, including his previous role with Airedale Environmental Services.

Since joining the business, Andy has quickly become an important part of the Penmann team, combining his engineering and design knowledge with a strong understanding of project delivery and customer requirements.

From Project Design Engineer to Project Manager Lead

Andy originally joined Penmann to provide additional engineering resources at a time when the business was experiencing high levels of orders and a growing pipeline of projects. His role soon developed beyond project design.

Alongside his technical knowledge, Andy proved himself to be an excellent communicator and established a strong working relationship between our Contracts and Design departments. This ability to bring different parts of a project together has made him a natural fit for a wider project management role. His promotion to Project Manager Lead will see him take greater responsibility for coordinating projects and supporting the wider project team, helping maintain clear communication between design, contracts, engineering and our customers.

More Than 25 Years of Industry Experience

Andy’s extensive industry background gives him a strong understanding of both the technical and practical requirements involved in delivering industrial heating, cooling, ventilation and environmental control projects. His design experience allows him to understand the engineering behind each project, while his project management skills help turn those designs into installations that can be delivered effectively on site.

This combination will be particularly valuable in his new role, where Andy will help coordinate projects from the design and planning stages through to installation, commissioning and completion.

Strengthening Our Project Management Team

Commenting on Andy’s promotion, Richard Metcalfe, Group Managing Director, said:

Away from work, Andy enjoys fishing, football and travelling, although his new role should certainly keep him busy during the working week!
