Helping to create a better playground at our local school

Penmann - Pool School Playground donation

Each quarter we donate a percentage of sales to charities and causes identified by our team

Our latest donation goes to the Primary School in our village of Pool-in-Wharfedale which has been fund raising to bring improvements to the old and over used playground. We donated £500, receiving this message of thanks from Sarah Corr, Co-chair of FOPPS (Pool C of E Primary School PTA):

“Friends of Pool Primary School (FOPPS) are raising much needed funds to improve playtimes for our school children by updating the tired and uninspiring playground area.

As a school situated in a less deprived area, we attract very little additional funding for pupils, and grants available for schools are usually allocated to those with much greater levels of deprivation.

This latest project will provide children with so many more exciting outdoors opportunities. The playground is also open to the wider community so it is a benefit for the whole village.

FOPPS are so grateful for support with raising the funds needed to improve the playground and provide an enriched environment in which our children can flourish, physically and mentally.

Thank you so much again for your support”.
