The absolute highlight of Team Penmann’s social diary is the Christmas Jumper day

This is a great opportunity to down tools for an hour, eat cake and drink coffee together.

We raffle amazing gifts kindly donated by our supplier partners and tickets are purchased by team members.

We are proud of colleagues for contributing £175 to this cause which Penmann has doubled to give a £350 donation to Pancreatic Cancer UK. We chose this charity in memory of our late colleague, Keith Pearson, and in the hope that our funds will start to make a difference and save lives.

The charity sent us huge thanks and a certificate. Of course, it goes without saying that they cannot take on pancreatic cancer without donations.

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose and tough to treat. Over the years, survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers but sadly, for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. More than half of people diagnosed die within 3 months – this is unacceptable.

Research funding will support the development of a simple test to diagnose pancreatic cancer earlier and ensure people get life-saving treatment faster.
